1910 Steering Shaft

I have a steering shaft that measures 51" in length. Would this be correct for a 1910 steering column? I see references in the MTFCA literature to a 50" length for this year. I am building a 1910 touring. Many thanks. Mike

I can measure mine later today Mike.

OK I measured mine - it is an October 1910 car so very late in the model year. The shaft in mine measures 52 1/2" so I bet 51" would be correct for an early 1910.
