Got a new car Sunday and I herd a tick sound. So checking around I pulled the transmission cover and saw my noise. A bolt instead of a rivet. If you guys could look around and see what else isn’t right. Check out the clutch spring, what do you think?
Hard to say what all else might be wrong without taking it apart for inspection. The things that you are pointing to are odd. Looks like the bands are adjusted too tight, maybe the drums have been turned down causing the relationship to be impossible to adjust properly. I would take it apart and see what needs to be done.
