1922 Center Door work continues

It’s been a little warm lately, although I did the Seat box in the basement.

Back in January I had a friend of mine help cut and plane new wood for the seat box. Well, I split one after trying to assemble it, and had to use the original piece to fit. The pieces were made using the originals as patterns. The board for the rear part isn’t there yet, as there wasn’t one remaining to make a pattern from. I’ll have to measure.

Also decided to work on the frame for the driver’s seat back rest. I will need to cut off the screw bolts and replace two hex nuts with square ones

Looking good so far.
