Last year I was asked to take my truck down to Fairfield for their “Flag Parade”.
I did, and it was a great time. I really looked forward to doing it again this weekend,
but my pullets are getting large FAST and I have a coop and pen to finish, so taking
a day for this was not going to happen. But then the weather turned to total crap,
with heavy rain and gnarly winds, making the decision to actually get a fire going in
the stove in the shop and get some work done easier. Friday it was clear skies and
80º ! Go figure.
