What is the manufacturers part number for these seals, I understand that the T parts vendors offer these under their own part numbers.
However is easier for me to source from a local bearing supplier . Example National or SKF
I used SKF number 9878 and made an installation tool. I used a 1” piece of aluminum bar stock, machined just enough off one end to make it smooth. Made a collar to fit over the bar stock out of plastic. I machined a recess in the end of the mandrel to match the shoulders on the end of the camshaft. I slid the seal on the mandrel, put a small amount of gasket maker on the outside of the seal, put it over the end of the camshaft and used the plastic collar to push it in place. I tried to upload a picture of the tool I made, but couldn’t get it to work.
