My 22 roadster wood firewall was badly hacked up so needs replaced. I’d like to replace it with a metal one. Is there a preferred method in moving the steering column out of the way? It seems everyone takes off the pitman arm and knurled nut at the end of the shaft and pulls the whole works up and out? Can anyone advise or expand on that? thanks
