I have a 1927 model t tdor sedan. The valve chamber has a forged open hole in the valve chamber that vents to the drivers side of the block. Its centered between cylinders 2 and 3 and about 5/8 inch. Does any know its purpose and rather it should be sealed. Thanks - Frank
That hole is there to allow the throttle linkage to pass through on engines with pre-vaporizer carb setups. You can leave it open, it will be fine. Google Search
