I’m going to be replacing the handbrake quadrant and pawl. Does anyone have step-by-step directions on how I should replace the pawl. Should I put the Pawl on the handbrake before mounting the quadrant, I guess it’s my basic question.
You can do it either way. The pawl in my opinion is easier to mount while the lever is on the workbench but it can be done on the car.
