I am hoping someone can help me. Yesterday I changed the timer roller because the car was running sluggish. Since doing that I now have no spark at number 3. I’m going to replace the roller with the old one to see if anything changes. Does anyone else have any ideas that can help me? Thank you for your help.
Substitute a wire attached to ground at one end for the timer. Ground each coil terminal at the firewall connection to see what the issue is.
I found the problem. This spring had come off of the roller. Runs like a champ now.
