The TT served well in Louisville.
When I got my truck, it had 7:1 gears and had never been balanced.
It shook itself to death at any speed over 15mph. This made me anxious
in traffic, as it seemed I was going SO slow ! Still, I had to laugh, as I
remember well the speed at which our horses moved when I was growing
up, and as I watched trees, mailboxes, and driveways go by, I realized
just how fast and long legged a TT must have been in 1925 ! With a
highly balanced engine/transmission and 5:1 gears and I can now walk
away from traffic in a 35mph zone.
