No gas? won't start

I am having an issue starting the car. In the warm weather there should not be as issue. If I add a little gas to each cylinder I can get it going. The plugs are dry when I remove them. Maybe the gas is not being drawn from the carburetor.

First check fuel tank has more than 3 gal, as gravity feed needs head pressure, then check fuel flow to carb. Open the drain on the carb bowl and note that fuel pours out. If a very slow stream, screen in the tank’s sediment bulb may be clogged. A common issue is float level too low, so check the carb for that. Depending on the spray needle setting, the carb may need to be richened up by opening the adj. knob, sometimes pull choke an engine turn or two. When warmed, close the setting some to make the mixture more lean for best running.

Thanks for the advice. My tank is a little over half full. The gas is flowing from the sediment bulb when the line is disconnected. I haven’t checked flow from the carb but will do. I was able to get it running yesterday with a dab of gas in each cylinder and a squirt of ether. I followed your advice with the choke. It ran a little rough at low revs. I shorted out each cylinder with a screw driver and each indicated all cylinders were firing. I have had the car stored for some time so I probably have to do some work to get it up and running again. Thanks again.
