Oil Pan question

Does anyone have pictures of a 4 dip pan that has been modified with baffles? Is this a reasonable thing to do to try and keep a little more oil at the journals to splash around when climbing a hill? Thanks in advance!

Ford tried that in 1909. It was a dismal failure. In general you want the oil to keep circulating. An outside oil line that feeds the front main is the way to go.

As you have seen in my other posting, that I have. I seem to recall my Dad stating that the pan had been baffled. When I pulled it off today, no baffles, hence the question. If it was viable I would consider it, but there a lot to consider with the saying “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it”.
