Our 1914 touring

This car was restored by my dad in the early 1990’s. It has outside brakes that he built using modified linkage and bands from an Overland of the teens. The brakes act on the outside of a 1926 - 27 “big drum” Ruckstell.

It had a 1915 engine in it until 2 years ago when it cracked a low drum. I found a 1914 block in Montana and shipped it to Ross Lilleker. Ross rebuilt the short block using a SCAT stroker crank and Egge pistons with SCAT rods. It has a Stipe cam with a stock 1914 low head. It goes pretty good.
