Do you reuse copper head gaskets? I have four of them in very good shape. Hate to chuck them if usable.
Yes you can. It is recommended to clean the head gasket with a solvent such as lacquer thinner. After it is oil, solvent and grease free bake it in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
After it is cool it can be used.
