Strobo spark plans

Does anyone have a Fun Projects strobo spark? Was this a kit? If so, would someone donate/ sell me the plans…or tell me whats in the display. I have built a tester that I can run a coil and check for decent spark and check amperage draw, but unable to see if my point gaps are good to prevent double spark.

Just bumping this. Still wondering.

Mark it was not a kit, I bought 2 just in case John Regan stopped making them which indeed happen. They are great testers. I recently bought a ECCT, it has a few more bells & whistles than the strobospark but a bit pricey comparatively. The great thing about it is it can be hooked to a computer for testing and results. I would loan a Strobospark if it would help reverse engineer one but I’d need a significant refundable deposit to insure that I receive it back in working condition with no damage plus the person would be responsible for shipping both ways with insurance. Appreciate the offer John. Thank you! I would likely be able to open it up and duplicate, but due to the fact of their rarity I would not want the responsibility of the possibility damaging your unit, however unlikely that would be. And how would you insure something like that to send it to Canada. I was hoping that there might be plans available. I did not know of John Regan and that he was the one that created them. I just heard of these machines and saw a video on how they worked. The ECCT is a little out of my budget, primarily due to exchange, shipping, and then duty and of course, our government wants their cut. Again, thanks.
