Unusual accessory speedometer drive

A member sent in these photos. He is missing the speedometer drive gear from the output shaft and has no idea where it was made or who made it. Any info is appreciated.

Royce, The drive is a Nash Transmission drive. It has a fiber pinion gear attached to the output drive attached to the transmission cover, and a straight-cut- drive gear that replaces the cup for the clutch spring that goes into the transmission. I have found that it is easiest to replace the cupped drive gear when the transmission is out of the car, but trying to install the gear while the transmission is in the car requires special tools and removal of the rear axle (UGH!). I hope this helps, Russ Furstnow

Russ that is great information thank you!
