What's a good retorque ft lbs for head bolts?

I can’t find it in the maintenance manual.

I torqued the head bolts on my 1924 to 50 ft-lbs, although I have heard some say that that much may be pushing your luck. 45 ft-lbs should be safe.

Ford didn’t have torque specs during the days of the Model T, Ford controlled the bolt torque by varying the length of the wrench handles used by the factory workers and dealers.

Thanks for the info, Mark.
