Great article Royce!!!
Elleham “carburator”:
J. C. Ellehammer was a danish inventor that primarily worked with pumps, but his private car was a Model T Roadster and he may most likely have tried to improve it’s milage pr gallon or just efficiancy.
Interesting - it appears that the throttle arm is beneath the carburetor. No float. I wonder how it worked?
I think that My - Cue carburetor was on eBay for a long time at a very high price. I hope you got a better deal on it than what they were asking!
ELLEHAMMER BENZIN KARBURATOR
Danish inventor J. C. Ellehammer designed and produced a “dry-carburetor” without float etc.
it’s not mine, but I would love to try it out on one of my T’s
TOQUET.
When I bought my 1914 Model T it was equipped with a Toquet carburetor.
These pictures I got from someone…
I had one of those. Very small bore. It ran great but seriously down on power.
